To export a conversation to Markdown:
  1. Install the ChatCache Chrome extension.
  2. Open the ChatGPT conversation you want to export.
  3. Click the ChatCache icon in your browser toolbar.
  4. Select Markdown as the format.
  5. Click Download.
ChatCache preserves all code blocks, tables, images, and formatting in the exported file.

ChatCache is a Chrome extension and works in Chrome and any Chromium-based browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Arc. It is not available for Firefox or Safari.
