>
> | Format | Description |
> | - | - |
> | Markdown | Clean `.md` file ready for Notion, Obsidian, GitHub, and similar tools |
> | HTML | Standalone HTML page with formatting preserved |

> | PDF | Typeset PDF rendered server-side; preserves LaTeX formulas |
> | JSON | Structured data format for programmatic use |
> | CSV | Tabular format for spreadsheets and data analysis |

> **Is my ChatGPT data safe with ChatCache?**
>
> ChatCache uses no third-party analytics and no trackers. Markdown, HTML, TXT, JSON, CSV, and PNG exports run entirely in your browser — your conversation data never leaves your device for these formats.
>
> PDF export sends your conversation to `api.getchatcache.com` for rendering over a secure HTTPS connection. The rendered PDF is returned to your browser, and your conversation content is not stored on the server after processing.

> **Which browsers does ChatCache support?**

> ChatCache is a Chrome extension and works in Chrome and any Chromium-based browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Arc. It is not available for Firefox or Safari.

> **Do I need to create an account to use ChatCache?**
>
> No. ChatCache does not require an account, sign-up, or login of any kind. Install the extension and start exporting immediately.

> **Can I export only part of a conversation?**
>
> Yes. Use the Selective Export feature to choose exactly which messages to include. Enter selection mode, check the individual messages you want — your prompts, the AI's responses, or any combination — and export only those.
